Welcome University City High School Class of 1970
What a fun time!!!!
To those of you who attended the reunion on Saturday night, we hope you had as great a time as we did. For those of you who did not, we are sorry you could not make it and hope you hear from others about the fun time we all had reliving such an important time in our lives in that very special city we grew up in and very special school we attended...U City.
We want to extend a very special thank you to Bob Denlow who hosted a great event at his home on Friday evening. It indeed was a wonderful "warm-up" party to the reunion itself.
On Saturday night, Mike Kahn introduced the Senior Movie by telling a story of how he, Al Koken and the other classmates involved with writing, filming and editing "They Shoot Seniors Don't They?" could not understand why they could not match the special effects of the movie produced by the class of 1969. Of course, when the movie "Back to the Future" was released in 1985, they finally figured out why (the class of 1969's senior movie was directed and filmed by Bob Gale, co-writer and producer of "Back to the Future"). More information will be forthcoming regarding obtaining a copy of our senior movie.
Grade school class pictures were taken and are now posted in the "Photo Albums" tab of this site. Many more photos of the evening will be posted in the next few days.
